Quality Control

 

Purpose

The Quality Control Committee is responsible for oversight, development and maintenance of the overall quality for CUSP. We provide the necessary planning and control to ensure this level of success.

The group monitors and reports on quality issues and shares best practices throughout the organization. We also provide guidance to develop, issue, and analyze ongoing surveys and evaluations. The committee provides oversight for data integrity review, and analysis (e.g. incomplete records), and also reviews flagged procedures, following up with institutions as needed to correct incomplete records, address flagged procedures etc. 

The subcommittee's main objectives are:

  • Develop, issue, and analyze ongoing surveys and evaluations

  • Data integrity review and analysis (e.g. incomplete records)

  • Review and resolution of flagged procedures

  • Follow up with institutions as needed to correct incomplete records, address flagged procedures, etc.

 

Current Activities/Initiatives

  • Ongoing quality Control survey development

  • Recruitment of future new members

  • Continued development of reducing burden of flagged procedures

  • Ongoing Quality Control Data Information-revisions  

  • Ongoing Quality Control Website

 

Recent Accomplishments

  • Developed a preliminary list of questions for the user survey

  • Wrote a draft for the website

  • Workflow for flagged procedures

  • Creation of SOP to deactivate institutions that no longer want to participate in CUSP

  • Fault tolerance (maintainability)

  • Communication and Information
